Sponsors and Sponsorship
The Australian Council Against Health Fraud Inc accepts and
invites sponsorship of our events and activities. Sponsoring
organisations will be given publicity on this web site and in
newsletters and other ACAHF publications and communications.
Sponsorship can be undirected and used for the general operations of
ACAHF or it can be related to a specific event such as a seminar,
meeting or conference. The ACAHF Annual Conference would normally be
a stand-alone event with its own separate sponsorship agreements.
For more information about becoming a sponsor, please .
You will need to ask your accountant, but sponsorship of ACAHF may
be a tax deduction for some businesses.
The
first ACAHF sponsor is
Gebesse Computer Consultants, who provide the following services:
- Office accommodation
- Accounting services and some clerical support
- Computer hardware and software at wholesale cost
- Credit card processing (Gebesse covers all standing merchant costs,
such as monthly account fees, card processing equipment rental, call
costs for authorisation)
- Internet access
- Web site design
- Fax collection and post office box rental
- Tolls and parking charges for local travel
- Internet sales support (Some merchants such as Amazon.com only pay
commissions when a minimum amount has accumulated, so all sales of this
type will be done through existing affiliate accounts used by Gebesse.
Gebesse will remit any accrued commissions to ACAHF quarterly even if
Gebesse has not been paid by the merchant or affiliate program.)
- For the initial establishment of ACAHF, Gebesse provided the time of
an employee to do the necessary paperwork and an
interest-free loan to cover startup costs.
